English stereotypes:
To cope with different people, we tend to put them in certain boxes, with certain character traits, so we can handle the vast differences between personalities – also known as using stereotypes.
Here is one of them
Very English:
Oh, I say! What a simply delightful day, wouldn’t you agree? Absolutely marvelous weather, don’t you think? Quite perfect for a spot of al fresco dining, what? A charming little picnic, perhaps, with some delectable cucumber sandwiches and a spot of refreshing tea. Wouldn’t that be absolutely marvelous?
Now, do run along, dear, and inform your dear mother that she simply must bake up a batch of her scrumptious scones. And be sure to remind her not to forget the butter, hmm? We mustn’t have anything less than perfection for our little outing.
