I am a strong believer in e-learning and explainer videos, but they must be visual for a very specific reason: our brains remember visuals much better than words. For instance, if I say “flower,” an image of a flower appears in your mind, not the word “flower.” This is why visuals are such a powerful tool in e-learning and explainer videos.

However, it’s not enough to simply create pretty illustrations or animations; they must have a purpose. The primary goal is to help the viewer remember the content. If the visuals are entertaining, that’s just the cherry on top!
